Our Impact
We advance policy reforms and evidence-based advocacy — especially targeting laws that excuse crimes of passion. GEADI promotes gender mainstreaming to reduce domestic, personal, and intimate partner violence.
Our goal is to integrate gender perspectives into policies and development frameworks, and to foster transformative dialogue among diverse stakeholders. We actively support the enforcement and cultural acceptance of laws like the Violence Against Persons Prohibition (VAPP) Act of 2015, which criminalizes domestic violence and harmful widowhood practices.
